1、Types of water intake floating vessels
The floating water intake pump vessel is a mobile surface water intake device suitable for rivers, lakes, reservoirs and other similar locations. Its ability to automatically rise and fall with water levels ensures stable water intake even during significant fluctuations. Compared to traditional fixed water intake structures, it eliminates the need for massive concrete foundations. Its modular prefabrication and rapid on-site assembly not only reduce construction costs by 30%–60% but also shorten the construction period to 1–3 months. Installation is not constrained by shoreline topography and can be flexibly relocated and reused based on water quality and quantity requirements. The integrated pump house and automated control system significantly reduce manual maintenance costs, and construction causes minimal disruption to the ecological environment. It is widely applicable to various scenarios such as municipal water supply, industrial water intake, agricultural irrigation, and emergency water supply, making it a cost-effective choice for small to medium-sized water intake projects.

2、Collision protection structure for water intake floating vessels
In addition to flexible selection options, we also strive for excellence in equipment safety performance. Even when the water intake pumping vessel is moored in areas such as reservoirs where there are no rapid currents, no major floods, and the water flow is slow, the requirements for the pumping vessel’s anti-scour and anti-collision capabilities are relatively low. However, our company still strictly implements high standards in design and production, and comprehensively improves the pumping vessel’s anti-scour and anti-collision capabilities through the following multiple measures.
3、Reasonable arrangement of watertight compartments in the hull:
1. The ship is equipped with 12 independent watertight compartments, which can ensure that the pump ship will not sink and can continue to supply water normally even if any one of the compartments is flooded.
2. When designing the hull, our company will install double-layer steel productive guard on the top row of the side plates around the hull, with a spacing of 800mm between the upper and lower productive guard and a spacing of 2.5m between the vertical lower productive guard; in addition, an arc-shaped anti-collision beam will be installed at the bow.
3. To further enhance the collision protection function of the hull, our company has adopted the method of hanging anti-collision tires around the hull, with the anti-collision tires spaced at intervals of four meters.
4. Install warning mast lights on the top deck. The lights are in three colors: white, green, and red. Turn on the incandescent lights at night to notify passing ships that there is a pontoon facility here and not to approach.
